I am your photographer
Photography to me is not just a 4x6 piece of glossy paper you place in an album book or an old Nike shoebox you had laying around. A camera to an extent acts like a time machine – A machine that can freeze moments in your life, no matter how big or small by a push of a small round button. What else in the world can do that? Maybe Elon Musk can someday think of something clever. But for now, it is this complex piece of hard plastic in between my hands.
Photography captures every smile, every frown. It captures emotions like anger, fear, doubt, happiness. To be a photographer means that I get to be a part of that small moment in someone’s life. To be the person that is able to freeze that moment is something I find to be very special. So someday, that person or family can be able to look back and bring out those same emotions they experienced that day.
